My Story
My journey in the therapy world began in 2014, when I started working at a speech therapy office. What began as a job quickly became a passion — I discovered how much I loved the administrative side of therapy, from supporting clinicians to helping families navigate their insurance needs. Over the years, I worked my way up to becoming the Billing & Credentialing Specialist Manager, a role that helped me master the complex world of authorizations, insurance regulations, billing compliance, and payer relations.
As I grew professionally, I realized that many therapy providers lacked reliable support and were overwhelmed by the administrative burden of running a practice. I wanted to change that. I wanted to create something that truly made a difference — for therapists, for families, and for the practices that serve our communities.
With that vision in mind, I made the decision to invest in myself and my future. I returned to school and proudly graduated from DeVry University with an Undergraduate Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding with Honors. On September 20, 2021, I furthered my credentials by becoming a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) through AHIMA, one of the most respected certifications in the industry.
These achievements laid the foundation for what would become J&R Billing Solutions — a company built on my dedication to excellence, accuracy, transparency, and genuine care for the providers I serve. What started as a passion grew into a full-service billing and consulting company that now supports therapy providers across Florida, from solo clinicians to multi-location practices.
Every step of my journey — from my first day in that speech therapy office, to earning my certifications, to building a trusted business — has been driven by my belief that therapists deserve a partner who advocates for them, understands their challenges, and helps them thrive.
To this day, this work is deeply personal to me. My clients become part of the J&R family, and I am committed to supporting them with the same dedication, integrity, and heart that inspired me back in 2014.
